Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, I did what all Kiwis do and made the move the the UK, where I’m now based in London. I love finding creative answers to briefs, pushing boundaries and getting someone to sign off on an identity that's based on mushrooms.

Time to connect and be together was central to the success of the event. We explored this visually by crafting an extensive gradient system based on connection and time of day. Gradients signified both the time and the topic of a talk or workshop, clearly signposting Googlers throughout their entire Summit experience. Colour was applied carefully to evoke feelings of delight, collaboration and positive change.

Blending subtle motion and the illusion of light, the resulting visual identity was both magical and highly functional. For the final touch, we developed a rich soundscape to really elevate the emotional response.
